Ten Gods
In the Four Pillars, the Heavenly Stem (abbreviated as 日干, literally "Day Master") of the Day Pillar is unique and can be understood as the "core" self: "I." All other Stems and Branches interact with it to produce the "Ten Gods" attributes. These are determined based on the Yin-Yang and Five Elements relationships of the Heavenly Stems: Friend, Rob Wealth, Hurting Officer, Eating God, Direct Wealth, Indirect Wealth, Direct Officer, 7 Killings (Indirect Officer), Direct Resource, and Indirect Resource. The relationships are classified as Yin and Yang interact. Same polarity with Day Master like Yin with Yin, it is the positive side of 10 God, Yin and Yang polarity with Day Master it is regarded as negative 10 God.
Yin and Yang properties of Heavenly Stems: 甲 Jia, 丙 Bing, 戊 Wu, 庚 Geng, and 壬 Ren are Yang Stems; 乙 Yi, 丁 Ding, 己 Ji, 辛 Xin, and 癸 Gui are Yin Stems.
Five Elements properties of Heavenly Stems: 甲 Jia and 乙 Yi are Wood, 丙 Bing and 丁 Ding are Fire, 戊 Wu and 己 Ji are Earth, 庚Geng and 辛 Xin are Metal, and 壬 Ren and 癸 Gui are Water.
The one that produce me is the 印枭 Resource element. The opposite polarity is 正印 Direct Resources: Same polarity is 枭神 Indirect Resource
The element produced by me is the 食 Eating God or 伤 Hurting Officer: The opposite polarity is the 伤官 Hurting Officer, and the same polarity is the 食神 Eating God.
The element that is the same as me is the 比 Friend or 肩 Rob Wealth: Same polarity is 比肩 Friend, and with the opposite polarity, is 劫财 Rob Wealth.
The one that counter me is the 官 Direct Officer or 杀 7 Killings: Same polarity is the 正官 Direct Officer, and with the opposite polarity is 七杀 7 Killings.
The one that I counter is the 正财 Direct Wealth or 偏财 Indirect Wealth: Opposite polarity is 正财 Direct Wealth, and with the same polarity, it is 偏财 Indirect Wealth.

10 Gods table in relation to Day Master
Day Stem and Branch's Ten Gods Relationship is relatively complex. This is because each Branch hides one to three Heavenly Stems, and the attributes of the Ten Gods depend on these hidden Heavenly Stems. If a Branch hides only one Heavenly Stem, it is called the Primary Qi; if it hides two, it is divided into Primary Qi and Middle Qi; if it hides three, it is divided into Primary Qi, Middle Qi, and Remaining Qi. If a Branch has Primary Qi, Middle Qi, and Remaining Qi, the strength of Primary Qi is 60%, Middle Qi is 30%, and Remaining Qi is 10%. If a Branch has only Primary Qi and Middle Qi, Primary Qi is 70%, and Middle Qi is 30%. If it has only Primary Qi, then Primary Qi is 100%. The complexity of Four Pillars learning is significantly related to the hidden Stems in the Branch.
The relationship between the Ten Gods in terms of the generation and control of the Five Elements is a refinement and personification based on Yin and Yang. The names of these relationships have practical and contrasting meanings. Regarding the auspicious or inauspicious nature of the Ten Gods, there are two viewpoints:
Five Auspicious includes Direct Resource, Direct Officer, Direct Wealth, Eating God, and Friend; Five Inauspicious includes Indirect Resource, Seven Killings, Indirect Wealth, Hurting Officer, and Rob Wealth.
Six Gentlemen and Four Petty People: Six Gentlemen are considered auspicious, including the Five Auspicious plus Indirect Wealth, while Four Petty People are considered inauspicious, including the Five Inauspicious excluding Indirect Wealth.
Both viewpoints are reasonable, and practical application requires flexible mastery. Auspiciousness and inauspiciousness are two sides of the same thing, not absolute concepts.
FRIEND (比肩 Bi-Jian) Friend refers to the Day Stem being the same as other related Stems and Branches, meaning "same as me."
Relationship: Yin Stem with Yin Self; Yang Stem with Yang Self; if the Day Stem is Xin Metal, then seeing another Xin Metal is considered Friend; if the Day Stem is Geng Metal, then seeing another Geng Metal is considered Friend.
Concept: Same gender gathering, providing both assistance and rejection; maintaining rationality and restraint, not being impulsive or attacking actively.
Examples: Peers, colleagues, friends, partners, competitors; can be represented by crutches, handrails, sports equipment, competitions, arenas, etc.
